ABOUT FAID

FAID, is Sydney’s leading network of qualified and experienced Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs).

FAID - the experts in food allergy, food intolerance, coeliac disease, and other adverse food reactions. They are passionate about helping you through your journey to improved health.

They appreciate that food is far more than nutrition, and know that for some people, food can be a cause of distress. They are here to assist you in easing symptoms and bringing back the joy of eating.

FAID dietitians are registered with Dietitians Australia (DA), private health funds and recognised by Medicare in Australia. Offering online consults, so you can be seen no matter where you live.

 

For face-to-face consults, there are also various sites across Sydney.

BROOKE SCOTT
Brooke (2).jpg

Brooke is a Dietitian who has worked with clients with adverse food reactions over the last 15 years. As well as seeing clients, she is involved in research, training and teaching both students and dietitians in adverse food reactions, as well she presents at workshops and conferences. Brooke is a member of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia and part of the Leadership Team for Dietitians Australia’s Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group.

**Brooke is currently on leave and is not taking appointments. She looks forward to seeing clients again in the near future.

KIRSTY LERAY

Kirsty has worked for over 12 years as a Dietitian. She runs a private practice in the Inner West of Sydney and has trained in paediatric nutrition and dietetics with The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. Kirsty is a member of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia, Nutrition Australia, and the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology & Allergy (Associate member). She presents webinars in the area of adverse food reactions, and runs the Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group for Dietitians Australia.

NEELAM PUN

For over 10 years, Neelam has practiced as a Dietitian. She is a member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology & Allergy (ASCIA) and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia, and is also involved in research, workshops and conferences. Neelam trains other dietitians and students in the area of adverse food reactions, and also forms part of the Leadership Team for Dietitians Australia’s Adverse Food Reaction Interest Group.

SHARON TRUEMAN

Sharon has worked as a Dietitian both in the UK and Australia, for over 25 years. She works as a clinical and research dietitian, and is committed to improving the health of clients suffering from adverse food reactions. Sharon has four private practices in the Blue Mountains & Penrith area, and presents webinars on adverse food reactions. She is a member of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia and  CPD Coordinator for Dietitians Australia’s Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group.
